Eco – tourism in simple terms, is travel with responsibility, both to the environment of the visting place and to the populace of the locality. Traveling with minimum intrusion, into the physical and cultural environment of the visiting place. Learning about your destination before you get there, reading guidebooks, travel articles, histories, and paying particular attention to customs such as greetings,appropriate dressing, eating behaviors, being sensitive to the local customs, and packing up your trash, and remaining set distances away from wildlife are a few ways to be a responsible traveler. |
